Why a cohort, not a sign-up form

Most marketing services scale by adding customers. We can't.

Every Presence Engine is built specifically for one founder — their voice, their customers, their operating reality, their custom workflows. That's not template work. It's bespoke build work.

Two founders. We can build, voice-train, and live-launch ten Presence Engines per quarter. More than that, and the quality drops. So we don't try.

The cohort model is the constraint that makes the work good.

Who this is — and isn't — for

The candor is the point. If you're not a fit, we'd rather you know before you spend 20 minutes applying.

Who this is for

  • You're a founder-operator — you are the business, or one of two founders running it.
  • Your business does $750,000 to $3,000,000 in annual revenue.
  • You're in Greater Houston.
  • You run a founder-led service business.
  • You're paying for four or more marketing tools right now and feeling the cost.
  • You can articulate the marketing problem you're trying to solve in a sentence.
  • You can commit to a $25,000 investment without needing a board to sign off.

Who this is not for

  • Pre-revenue, or businesses younger than 18 months
  • Businesses under $500,000 revenue (the math doesn't work yet — come back when it does)
  • Businesses over $5,000,000 revenue (you probably need more than what we offer)
  • SaaS companies
  • E-commerce or dropshipping
  • Generic home services (HVAC, plumbing, landscaping) — different marketing motions than we're built for
  • Marketing directors or agency owners shopping for tools to resell
  • Founders who want a magic bullet that requires no decisions from them
If you're in any of these categories, we appreciate the consideration — we're just not the right partner. Most of our cohort founders came to us because someone else turned them down, so we know how that feels.
How Selection Works

Six steps, every word read

Step 1 · 20–30 min

Application

A substantive written application — nine business and discovery questions, four case-study questions, an optional video, and a freeform "anything else we should know." We read every word.

Step 2 · Within 72 hours

Review

Randolph and Jackie both read every application. You'll hear back within three business days — an invitation to a strategy session, or an honest "not the right fit right now." Both are real; we don't keep applicants on file.

Step 3 · 90 minutes

Strategy session

If invited, you'll join a 90-minute deep-dive with both founders — over video, or a phone call, whichever works for you. Not a sales call — mutual qualification.

Step 4 · Within 7 days

Decision

A written acceptance with a welcome packet, or a written decline with a real reason. We don't drag decisions out.

Step 5 · Next cohort start

Onboarding

If accepted, your build begins on the next quarter's cohort start date.

Step 6 · 21 business days

Live

Voice-trained, custom-built, and ready to run — owned by you.
